  1. One thing that I found particularly interesting in Letter 2 was how Heloise was confessing her love for Abelard throughout the letter, but in Letter 1 Abelard writes about how she discouraged marriage. She says that she fears her uncle, which she should since he took away Abelard's manhood using an assassin. Why don't they just do something about him or run off together though? One thing that surprised me is that Heloise read the first letter that was to Philintus. What are the chances of that ever happening? Another surprise to me what that she became a nun because of her love for Abelard and not for God.

  2. I found one thing when I read 'LETTER I Abelard to Philintus,' I was catching how Aberlard has been thought about marriage with her. "will not be the tomb of her love? The name of husband and master is always harsh, and Heloise will not be the Phoenix you now think her. Will she not be a woman? Come, come, the head of a philosopher is less secure than those of other men!'"
When his sister grew warm in the argument, He angrily interrupted her. However, I agreed his sister's idea because there is no reason to catch the love. So Abelard is like foolish, he didn't do anything. So he need to carefully listening advice.

What i found interesting that stood up to me was "The tension between these two poles generates a huge amount of emotional electricity." I found this sentence in one of the paragraphs that caught my attention. These tow people were in love and created a family and even went through some troubles from outsiders that were hurtful. The Letter written really showed the love Abelard had for his wife Heloise and really brought out emotions most people back then didnt realize they had.

What I found interesting was the love Heloise has for Abelard. But Heloise uncle didn't like Aberlard and he told his manhood. Abelard writes a letter about how she discouraged marriage. I was also surprised when Heloise became a nun because of Abelard.
